A good company to purchase a domain from?

Usually I would register a domain through Dreamhost, who hosts my site, has registered my other domains, and so forth.

And when I have registered a domain in the past, I have always recieved an immediate e-mail from them informing me that they successfully registered the domain for me, please wait a few days as it propogates through the internet, etc. And it is immediately listed with the other domains I own.

So I try to purchase a domain today, I went through all the necessary steps, which are so straightforward I couldn't fuck this up if I tried, and I got to my Paypal confirmation page, from which I went back to my DH control panel, expecting to see this new domain I purchased listed.

It wasn't.

Neither did I get the customary e-mail. So I e-mailed their support staff, who told me to go through the process again, which I didn't like, but I did anyway, because hey, servers have hiccups and stuff, and I can use the original payment for something else.

Well, it didn't work this time either, and because I'm not a verified member of Paypal, (Don't have a credit card.) it takes about 10 business days for any payments I send with Paypal to clear, and so all they can do is tell me to go through the process again.

Naturally, I'm taking my business for this elsewhere.

So, is there a company out there that will register a domain for me without fucking me over?

Godaddy for Silly Daddy

I second that for Godaddy. I have been using them for years without problems. You can pay by credit card or paypal.

I registered my domain with GoDaddy.com without any trouble. Haven't had any problems with them during renewal, either.
