Penny Arcade did a nice thing this holiday season - organize a toy drive for a local hospital which was a spectacular success due to their readers' generority. Tycho estimates that they raised the equivalent of $200,000.00 in toys, games and money.

After it was over Tycho posted his reaction to the lack of coverage from the media, in contrast to the media's continuing scrutiny of video game content and possible Ozzy Osbourne like impact on our nation's youth. Metafilter picked up on Tycho's post and it started an interesting discussion.
