Flickerflame, the Anti-hero's anti-hero, went on temporary and unplanned hiatus while my other strip, Mindmistress was involved in the Crossover Wars, which entailed some extra research and coordinating with other comics.

Flickerflame is a cross between Mystique/Beast Boy/Chameleon Boy, with a personality somewhere between Sub-Mariner's antisocialness and Deadpool's flippancy. The catch is HIS transformations actually obey the law of conservation of matter, unlike at least two of those mentioned above. He belongs to a superteam, the Next Level...which he is planning to betray.

With reason.
