Submitted by cayetano garza on April 17, 2003 - 10:15
A webcomics event to be concluded at San Diego Comicon! Come one, come all! Grow a beard by San Diego Comicon. I'll put together a webpage that will collect the "mail in" entries and we'll take a group picture at San Diego Comicon. The winner will be decided by beard length and will get a special spotlight at the Beard Challenge home site (TBA). Female webcomics artists are invited to participate by wearing a found fake beard (or making one!). "mail in" entries to this little "contest" can be emailed to cat@magicinkwell.com. See you (and your beard) at San Diego!
Comixpedia Forums Are Now Live
Submitted by Xaviar Xerexes on April 17, 2003 - 00:30
We have been beta testing our new forum system and (knock on wood!) they're now open to our readers. A link to the forums is in the Sections menu on the upper left of the screen. We have created some initial forum topics but please let us know if you have suggestions. You will also still continue to be able to comment directly on all of the stories we post here.
Last but not least, we do in fact have an IRC Channel for webcomics related chat - we have added a more prominent link to the channel in the Sections menu as well.
