ConnectiCon July 16-18, 2004 Web Comic Invitation

ConnectiCon 2004 will be held on the University of Hartford campus in West Hartford, CT from July 16th to 18th. Currently slated to appear are: Sluggy Freelance, Ctrl-Alt-Del, RPG World, VG Cats, ScaryGoRound, Dominic Deegan, Diesel Sweeties, Questionable Content, EXE-World, Studio Splurd, Instant Classic, Staccato Comic and Partially Clips.
ConnectiCon is offering an open invitation to all webcomic creators to attend. We have received interest from quite a few other web comics and have yet to confirm with them their attendance at this time. Our goal is to have 30 to 50 web comics in attendance at this year's ConnectiCon 2004. Read on for more details of what ConnectiCon will provide to attending webcomic cartoonists (all webcomics with minimum 1,000 hits per day audience receive "free membership to ConnectiCon")
FREEWARE COMICS MADE AVAILABLE BY TWIN ENGINE

The swedish twin comic artists Kent-Ove and Nils-Erik Lindstrom has released several of their comics as freeware art. Anyone can download, read and distribute the comics as long as it is done non-commercially and the authors are credited for their work. The comics can be found at the Twin Engine freeware comics homepage. Preview PDF-files are browsable online and zipped complete issues in PDF-format are downloadable.
The Lindstrom brothers run an illustration company called Twin Engine based in Stockholm, Sweden. They have been professional illustrators since 1997.
Long-running Algernon's Dilemma Looking for Guest Artist for Upcoming Storyline

Jim Alexander, the writer/artist of Algernon's Dilemma is looking for a guest artist to handle art on the strip for the next storyline (tentatively slated to run August 22nd through November 27th of this year) which will consist of 14 color Sundays and 84 daily strips.
