Watching WirePop Part 1

Well I've got the subscription to WirePop so I thought I'd blog a few comments on some of the comics. Baker By Night isn't so bad so far. The art is nice enough and the main character is starting to get interesting. Pretty early in the story to tell how worthwhile the comic will be though...

This is such an enjoyable read. In some ways it reminds me of Bobbins. In retrospect, it's a bit of a surprise that it took so long for Keenspot to pick it up.

I was reminded again today of the wonderful service provided by Comics By Email. Comics By Email delivers webcomics by email to readers who sign up for the service. Any creator can sign up with Comics By Email and have their webcomic delivered by email. There are currently a number of great webcomics available through the service including: Algernon's Dilemma, Alien Dice, Bottle Rocket, Freefall, Funny Farm, Innies and Outies, Newshounds, Pewfell Porfingles, and lots more.
Debut of Online Graphic Novel: The Last Days of Yeshua HaNozri

Rich Furman, of Cat-Tharsis and watercolorist Morgan MacBain are pleased to announce the debut of their graphic novel project, The Last Days of Yeshua HaNozri: A Tale of Appeasement. The webcomic is a passion story that endeavors to explore the political dynamics that culminated in the crucifixion of Jesus. It was conceived as a response to Mel Gibson's "The Passion of the Christ," but will have additional dimensions as well.
Furman is writing and lettering the project and MacBain is doing the artwork (the medium is ink and watercolor with computer lettering.) A new page will be published every two weeks.
