The last comic convention of the year for me is in the bag and I have to say it outproduced every and all expectations that I had!  First of all, it was great meeting everyone!  My throat was actually sore after the con and all of the next day.  I sold as many Rival Angels books in one day at FallCon as I did at one day at Wizard World.  The difference is that WW had at least two to three times the attendence, so very cool.  Its important to note, that I improved my selling pitch quite a bit.  In Wizard World, the pitch was

This is a look at one of Ray’s many attempts to improve on the great design of the Obama logo. It’s tough to top it, but this is one of my faves! Surely the people of the world of Pokemon are more likely to be Democrats: after all, they have a strong and in-depth educational system, believe in same-sex relationships, and free universal healthcare.

Back home from SPX and had to take the day off to recover. I spent the last few hours of the show having my worst allergy attack in years and trying not to sneeze on everyone. I apologize to anyone I may have blown off, or on! I'm starting to think there's something in the Maryland trees or environment that really sets me off because as my friend Matt pointed out, this wasn't exactly the first time I got sick at SPX. Which is really frustrating because it really is one my favorite cons, and sickness aside, it felt like a really good year for the show.

I have no real explanation for this strip. I can tell you that I don't like custard, so perhaps this is about that.

Took the family up to Minneapolis to visit some old friends and attend Fallcon, a small but growing comicon there.

They took fantastic care of all the creators there, even had someone show me to my table personally. I couldn’t have asked for more.
