  1. Actually, Arisia will have MANY comics and webcomics-related panels.

I’m (supposed to be) running one on with Tony Davis, owner-manager of Million Year Picnic, and Jef Czekaj’s (author of Grandpa and Julie: Shark Hunters) about best comics people should be reading…

  2. Kelly — is your panel scheduled yet? I may not be able to be around for the whole con, but I want to make sure I catch your panel.

The “Beyond Sluggy” panel is scheduled for Saturday at 1:00.

  3. Kelly/Alexander: I’m not officially a guest (it looked like I couldn’t attend until after the deadline), but I’m going to be in residence, so please feel free to draw on me if I can add anything to any of your panels.

And regardless if you do or not, I’m buying you guys some kind of potable.

  4. Well, actually, my panel kinda disappeared. No idea what’s up.

But I’ve been put on two other panels:

Comics – Publish Web or Print? 03:00 PM – 03:50 PM Thoreau
Aren’t comics for little boys? 04:00 PM – 04:50 PM St James

    Kelly J.

  5. Eric – I would be delighted to share some sort of potable with you! Or at least a hand-shake…

Who else is going to be at Arisia?

    Kelly J.

  6. Potables will be had, clearly!

And I have no clue who else will be there. But it will be great fun regardless.

  7. That is odd. I’ll be sure to come by your other panels, though.

  8. Ah-HA! It fell off the schedule. They stuffed it back in.

We’ve been put on the grid for Friday night, 9pm in Franklin.

    The panel:

Don’t Forget the Comics: Comic books in all their forms, including
graphic novels and trade paperback collections, cover many genres,
including science fiction, fantasy, crime, mystery, espionage, etc.
Comics can be beautifully strange works of art, superhero-packed
    adventures, scathing political screeds, gay/lesbian/bisexual/trans
stories, works of base horror or great humor. Join our comics
experts to discuss the medium and listen to their recommendations.

    Other panelists:

Tony Davis (owner/manager of Million Year Picnic in Harvard Sq.)
Jef Czekaj’s (author of Grandpa and Julie: Shark Hunters)

    Kelly J.

  9. Good, I’m glad that’s cleared up. I’ll *probably* be there on Friday, but two of my pet rats are going in for surgery that morning, so I have to see what happens with that. They should be fine, but surgery always makes me nervous.

  10. Well, I hope they’re all right and you can make it cuz SCORE! I also got Eric Burns on my Friday night panel… (I saw that you got him on yours already.)

    Kelly J.

  11. Ha ha! If Eric gets any more in demand, we’re all going to have to start wrestling for him…
