Anyone use Art Rage from Ambient Design? It's a free program that is designed to provide a realistic and fun simulation of using paint on a canvas, along with pens, pencils, crayons, and other tools.

Also interesting is Art Pad from Art.com which lets you draw pictures in your browser. Unfortunately, Art.com claims that anything you make with their little toy is their property.
