In case you’ve been holding out, Microsoft has recently announced (no joke!) a special version of Windows 7, dubbed the “Steve Ballmer†edition.
Copies are being given to Windows enthusiasts who are hosting their own Windows 7 launch parties throughout the country.
My one problem with Snow Leopard

Here’s one for you Mac geeks out there.
I have a Mac Pro connected to a Canon 4400F USB scanner. The TWAIN driver plugin I use within Photoshop does not recognize the scanner under Snow Leopard. However, the driver works fine in Leopard.

The reference to ADB in the 4th panel harkens back to 1986, when Apple first introduced their proprietary Apple Desktop Bus peripheral connector. ADB was largely used for keyboards and mice – and had a nice long run on every Mac from the IIfx on up, until it was superceded by USB when the gumdrop iMacs made their debut in 1998.
