Apple Valley, CA, January 11, 2009 - Illustrator Sarah Ellerton (Inverloch, The Phoenix Requiem) has teamed with writer Bobby Crosby (Marry Me, +EV, Last Blood) to launch Dreamless (dreamlessmovie.com), a new weekly comic on the Keenspot webcomics network. The high-concept plot has yet to be revealed, but it has been described as "a fantastical romantic tragedy like you have never seen before."
Said Crosby, "When I put out a call for artists, I was pleasantly surprised to hear from [Ellerton]. This seemed like the perfect project for Sarah and I want to thank her for the incredible job she's doing."
"I'm really excited about this collaboration with Bobby Crosby for Dreamless," said Ellerton. "I've never worked with a writer before, so it will certainly be a new and hopefully enjoyable learning experience for me. Illustrating for this project will push me creatively and issue me with artistic challenges that I may not have had the courage to do in my own projects. Bobby has written entertaining and unique stories in the past, and I'm confident Dreamless will be no different."

As first announced at Comic-Con International: San Diego's annual Keenspot panel on Saturday, the popular gaming comic WEREGEEK by Alina Pete has joined the webcomics network.
WEREGEEK is a fun mix of reality and fantasy that blurs the line between role-playing games and real-life. Hunted by mysterious foes, the Weregeeks have taken to the shadows and game only by the light of the full moon. When Mark, a "normal" guy, gets bitten by the gaming bug, he has to come to terms with his new life as a geek. "I'm trying to show that role-playing games are really not as weird as people think, and that geeks have regular lives and jobs too," said creator Alina Pete.

MENAGE A 3, a new webcomic from Gisele Lagace (PENNY & AGGIE, COOL CAT STUDIO) and Dave Zero1, has debuted on Keenspot. The comic chronicles the life of a comic book geek and his hipper roommates in their tiny Montreal apartment. It is scheduled to update three times per week and is suggested for mature readers.
"Montreal's a great town, and Dave and I have had a blast seeing the funny, sexy side of life out here," said artist and co-writer Gisele Lagace. "We're looking forward to sharing it with you."
"I'm a newcomer to webcomics and feel quite honored to begin this journey at Keenspot," said co-writer Dave Zero1. "I hope the Keenspot audience likes our little strip as much as we like working on it."
Set in Montreal, the finest bohemian city in North America, MENAGE A 3 follows the lives of comic book geek Gary and his way-sexier-than-he-is roommates in their Montreal tight-as-a-sandwich apartment where the walls are so thin there are virtually no barriers between their rooms.

Keenspot is happy to announce that three popular comics from the mind of Bobby Crosby are being added to the network. Last Blood, Marry Me, and +EV will now be Keenspot-branded sites and participate in cross-promotion with other comics in the line-up. Print editions of all three titles will continue to be published by the Blatant Comics label. "Bobby's comics now attract a readership of over 20,000 people daily, and we're thrilled to have them all in the Keenspot line-up," said Chris Crosby, Keenspot CEO and older brother of Bobby. "I've been working with him in a production capacity since he started, and with the buy-out of the company it only made sense to fold them into Keenspot."
