Christmas Toon #4: chainsawsuit

Admit it, you’ve always wanted to see how Kris Straub (chainsawsuit) would draw Gordon Freeman, Isaac Clarke, Chrono, Portal Girl, the Doom marine, Ness, and the guy from Myst.

The Non-Adventures of Wonderella usually puts out some of the best superhero-related humor on the net. This one is no exception. Poor Bats.
Who Are You? An interview with Bengo & Pug

Welcome to “Who Are You?â€, the Webcomic Overlook’s first foray into interviewing people involved in the business of webcomics. This feature was actually going to go by a completely different name, but I had The Who on my iPod playlist this morning. You might call it fate.
Christmas Toon #2: Married to the Sea

Christmas Toon #1: Medium Large

Francesco Marciuliano (who, and this should never be forgotten, is the writer behind Sally Forth) is probably a huge fan of Christmas. In a case of “Christmas seems to be coming earlier and earlier this year,” he’s been doing Christmas-themed toons on his web-only strip, Medium Large, as early as November 11. They’ve [...]

Not another piece of wood on that stove, Cratchit! And I’ll see you in hell, Jacob Marley! IN HELL!
I admit it — I’m a big fan of Scrooge, both the Ebeneezer and McDuck variety. And “Mickey’s Christmas Carol” is one of the best interpretations of the Charles Dickens original. So in [...]
The Webcomic Overlook #61: F Chords

Can Kristofer Straub ever do wrong?
This is one of the many questions the webcomic community often ponders. It probably ranks somewhere under “Who’s sexier: Hannelore or Faye?” and somewhere above “Is the hatted man a white knight or a creepy little stalker?” Yes, webcomic people are weird like that.
It helps that Straub himself [...]
Webcomic Overlook’s Greatest Trivial Moments of 2008
Submitted by El Santo on December 4, 2008 - 13:16
Ah, 2008. It may seem a year just like any other. I mean, sure, the US elected its first African American President after, like, two years of campaigning. Meanwhile, a peppy governor from Alaska stole our hearts. And then there were the 2008 Beijing Olympics, where a big-eared man taught us he could swim pretty fast, a Jamaican fellow lived up to his awesome surname of Bolt, and China shamed the world with its absolutely ginormous opening & closing ceremonies.
But how about the big things to happen in webcomics? Click here to read the Webcomic Overlook’s Greatest Trivial Moments of 2008!
