Multiplex ebook #1: High Definition Edition
Submitted by Gordon McAlpin on April 07, 2008
The Multiplex eBook #1: High Definition Edition is now available from the Multiplex site.
What's the difference between this and the free WOWIO edition released two months back, you ask? Well, Billy, there are three differences.
Multiplex eBook collection now available at WOWIO
Submitted by Gordon McAlpin on February 07, 2008
The first issue of the Multiplex eBook collection is now available at WOWIO. It's 36 pages long, and it collects Multiplex #s 1-24 plus a couple of guest strips (by me) and seven other strips not available in the Multiplex archives. Some of these have been seen as vote incentives at the Multiplex site -- but not all of them! The new strips fit snugly in-between the strips from the archives and, I think, help to flesh out the characters and their relationships in these early strips.
But in my opinion, the coolest little extra is that the inside front cover has an illustration that preserves the vector artwork I draw the strip with, meaning you can literally zoom in over 1000% and look at all the little mistakes I usually let slip because they're too small to see on the web.
The BEST part is, it's FREE!
Multiplex hits #200, sort of
Submitted by Gordon McAlpin on January 28, 2008
Multiplex, a twice-weekly, digitally illustrated comic strip by Gordon McAlpin about the staff of the Multiplex 10 Cinemas, has reached its 200th installment...
Except that this total doesn't include any of the previously-seen bonus material from the upcoming Multiplex eBook collection, so... um, whatever.

Two Multiplex bits worth mentioning:
- Multiplex is now on an offical twice weekly schedule (Mondays and Thursdays)
- An interview with me (a.k.a. Gordon) has been published in the Spokesman-Review, a Spokane, WA-based newspaper.

The latest issue of Boxoffice magazine (cover dated August 2007, sporting a Stardust cover) features a two-page article about Multiplex written by Chad Greene. Boxoffice, the official magazine of the National Association of Theatre Owners, is only available by subscription, but those of you who don't work at movie theaters can read the text of the article online here.

Submitted by Gordon McAlpin on July 12, 2007
Multiplex hit its two year anniversary earlier this week and also posted its 150th strip today. Multiplex is a digitally illustrated webcomic by Gordon McAlpin (a.k.a. me) about the staff of a movie theater and the movies that play there.
Multiplex Store now open for business!

Multiplex has finally joined the vast number of webcomics selling T-shirts. A half-dozen or so Multiplex and non-Multiplex T-shirts are now available from the Multiplex T-shirt Shop (powered by Spreadshirt).
All shirts are either flex or flock printed from vector files, so the quality is vastly superior to CafePress shirts. The ink will not fade! Check 'em out, add to your wardrobe, and support your favorite movie theater comic strip while you're at it!

I blatantly ripped off this idea from another webcartoonist, but Multiplex: The Soundtrack is now available through iTunes!
Multiplex hits #100!
Submitted by Gordon McAlpin on October 30, 2006
Multiplex hits the big 100 today, with a Halloween-themed strip. In celebration, a host of webcomics' finest will be contributing new guest strips, to be posted on Wednesdays and Fridays for the next few weeks ('til I run out of them).
Thanks for reading, everybody.
