Thanks for the kind words...

How can I not point out a review of Evil Inc Annual Report volumes one and two that opens like this:

Evil Inc. is one of those strips that I always wanted to get into. A ridiculously long Google Reader's worth of webcomics always drove me away from it's daunting archives and rich, deep cast of characters. When March's Webcomics Weekend provided me with not only the chance to jump on board the good ship Evil but also to meet The Nicest Guy In Webcomics in person, I dove head first at both opportunities. That, plus Steve, a long-time Guigar supporter, noted that if I didn’t meet the man himself, I would be missing out on meeting a true webcomic luminary. Good call, Steve.

In all seriousness, the review of both books is even-handed and fair.

Batman Widening Gyre
#3

Creative team: Story by Kevin Smith; Art by Walter Flanagan and Art Thibert

Villain to Watch: Deathstroke

They say: As The Dark Knight stalks the night preying upon Gotham City's criminals, Bruce Wayne spends his days getting reacquainted with former girlfriend Silver St. Cloud. Plus, Batman learns the name of his mysterious masked ally. From superstar creator Kevin Smith and guest-starring Aquaman, the New Teen Titans and Deathstroke the Terminator!

I say: Hey! Silver St. Cloud is back! How bad could this possibly go?

Convention Schedule 2010 -- Update!

More good news to pass along! All systems are GO for another trip to Seattle for Emerald City Comic Con! This has been a highlight on the convention circuit for me ever since I started going out there, and I'm thrilled to announce that I'll get to go again.

Recapping my earlier announcement, I'll be attending C2E2 in Chicago, making good on a six-year-old promise I made to get back into the Chicago area.

Rounding out the schedule thus far is the Calgary Comics Expo (in Canada, no less!), New York Comic Con in October, and, of course, Comic Con International in San Diego.

I haven't ruled out

If you'd like me to come to a convention near you, please write to the promoter of your nearest convention and ask them to have me appear as a guest. You'd be amazed at how much power an e-mail like that wields.

Right now, my tentative schedule looks like this:
