Star Pirates & Anthology Builder
Submitted by Howard Tayler on July 8, 2009 - 12:09
The folks at Star Pirates have been itching to get me to design ads for them for over a year now. Unfortunately for them I’ve been too busy to pay much attention to advertising — which is kind of strange, because you’d expect a good mercenary like me to be taking to that particular revenue stream like a fish takes to water, but I digress — so they had to go stand in line for slots via Project Wonderful.
Guest Comic and other Monday Things
Submitted by Howard Tayler on July 6, 2009 - 11:58
David Reddick, one of the hardest-working men in the comics business, asked me to do a guest comic for him over at The Legend of Bill. He provided a script (which I tweaked to my liking) and I provided the art. I’m happy with the way it turned out. Bill is fun to draw.
Go look!
Hey, Writing Excuses fans! Ummm… sorry! We’ll get Episode 3.6 posted real soon now.

It looked almost exactly like this.

Well, no. There isn’t. Garden Ninja Painting Studio lives in somebody else’s garden. But they’re good friends of mine, and good things are coming.
Clearance Cleared, Biff Booked

Y’all went through our scratch-and-dent books pretty fast, folks. It almost makes me wish our volunteers had dropped a couple of cases of books down the stairs or something.
Post-Shipping Clearance
Submitted by Howard Tayler on June 16, 2009 - 22:41
With Scrapyard out the door Sandra is in the throes of the post-shipping clean up. You should see the basement. It looked like a tornado hit it. Then it looked like FEMA hit it. Then it looked like nice, competent professionals came in and put everything back together.
Anyway, part of this clean-up process includes updating the store listings to reflect actual inventory. We found a few more mousepads, pins, and loose magnets lying around.
