Evil

I got my copy of Always Comix latest offering; The Evil Issue. "How does it smell?" I hear you ask... Well, this anthology smells fantastic, it smells like quality. And it is; beatiful three colour cover and interior printed in brown ink. I'm in it, and so are other people. Find out more, and submit something to the next issue here.

Hey, who's going to the london zine symposium? I'm gonna pop along, have a wander round.

suggestions please!

So, I'm trying to improve my comic drawing. And I need to look at more comics for inspiration. Currently I know pretty little. I read mostly alternative North American stuff from Top Shelf, Fantagraphics and Drawn and Quarterly. In the past I've read some 60's and 70's comix; Crumb, Bode and Shelton, but that's about it.

French Comics (apart from Asterix and Tintin) I know nothing about. Same goes for Manga (I've got one of the Akira books, that's all)

Side B

Bus travel in Brighton is more expensive than London

Well my new brushes (Rosemary & Co) are lovely, but maybe a little too nice as I went completely overboard with the ink in this one.

Buy or trade for volume one or volume two. Or check out my other strips at Top Shelf 2.0

What's for lunch then?

Actually that was yesterday. Today I had lunch at moro. It was a two hour journey door to door, but it was lovely. I had the rabbit.

So what Have I been getting in the post recently? well, I'll tell you...

This one's taken me an age to do...

Did you already check out my new strips at Top Shelf 2.0?

Volume one or volume two for sale, volume three soon.

So, I've got a couple of weeks off work so hopefully I'll be able to knock out a few strips in that time. Do you know of any anthologies that I could contribute to? I'd like to get my comics to a wider audience than my LJ friends and anthologies and zines seem the fun way forward.

If you'd like to buy volume one or volume two of my comic, you can.

Mars for The Thing

So, here's my contribution to The Thing anthology in full. I didn't get a copy, it sold out before I got round to picking one up. The theme was Mars

I had a good time at The Thing, maybe I'll write this up later?
