This past weekend was the Dallas Comic Con and I was there selling my books and sketches to readers. The Dallas Morning news was there to cover the event and I ended up in the B roll video near the front of the clip and so was Walter. Very cool.

If the names Frankenberry or Count Chocula mean anything to you then you might really enjoy the Monster Cereal blog. Back in the 80's I used to watch Saturday morning cartoons and commercials for these cereals were ubiquitous.

I came across this Flickr set today that hosts a series of scans from a 1923 book on cartooning titled "Tack's Cartoon Tips for the Aspiring Cartoonist" by B. Knight.

It's been pointed out to me on numerous occasions that my strip was lacking a female character and I totally agree. I don't know why I've waited this long, but here she is. More of Pauline the delivery girl to come.

This weekend is the premiere comics related event for the year in the Dallas, TX area and I'll be exhibiting there. The Dallas Comic Con has been going strong for several years and was actually the very first convention I've sold my work at, so I'm happy to return this year with my new book in tow. For those of you that can make it out to the show I'll be selling my new book, The Legend of Hermit Hill, in person for the first time.
