"What is the Webcomic Secret Summer?" you may ask.
A Secret Santa is a type of exchange in which each participant gets one randomly assigned recipient and the gift-giver's identity remains secret until an assigned time when s/he presents the gift to the recipient. The Webcomic Secret Santa is an exchange of webcomic gifts using the same concept.
Nominations for the 2007 Ursa Major Awards are now open and will continue until February 28. If there is an illustration, story, comic book, or other creative body of work featuring anthropomorphic animals that you think deserves recognition, then go nominate it! The site provides a complete list of nomination categories and instructions on how to participate.
I know that it is very late to start this, but Webcomic Secret Santa 2007 is accepting sign-ups for participation! If you are a webcomic creator who wants to draw gift art or a gift comic for while discovering new comics and receive gift art or a gift comic, then please join in the fun!
