As of today, Crimson Dark is two years old and still going strong. Though I've had to cut back on the update schedule since starting college, I still update every week without fail.
To mark this occasion, I have uploaded a short video, celebrating the first two years of this sci-fi webcomic.
From day one I have taken care to make sure that I never miss an update for Crimson Dark. It didn't take me long to realise that this was going to become very difficult if I kept to a thrice-weekly update schedule, so i changed to twice-weekly to make sure that I wouldn't be comprimising the quality of the comic. Since then I've been hoping that I might come to the point where I return to my original schedule, and I'm delighted to announce that I have reached that point (for now at least).
On 1st June 2006, the first ten pages of the prologue were uploaded. This means that Crimson Dark is now one year old. Huzzah!
The old database for Crimson Dark was, at best, notable for it's brevity. Today I'm delighted to announce that the brand new database is now online, with much more information to wade through.
I've been browsing the categories for awards at the Webcartoonist Choice Awards, and checking out the competition.
It's been a big week for Crimson Dark.
Monday saw the end of Chapter 1, Tuesday heralded the new website, Wednesday celebrated the 50th strip by showing how the design of 'Niobe' came about and Friday's Title Page for Chapter 2 came with an announcement: Crimson Dark is coming to print.
