A little bit about me and what the heck I'm doing here.
I'm Clare Phelps, short and saucy little sister of Lucas Phelps, almighty creator of several comics, most notably the previously published "Skritch." We're from Southeast Texas, but I currently live in Cullowhee, NC. Find that on a map. No, really. Please do. I need to know where I am. I'm sort of a junior in college, majoring in math at Western Carolina University. I'm an artist like my brother (learned from the best!), but I haven't done anything in years. There's some of my stuff on Deviant Art still if you're interested. High school stuff. I need to do something new. But yeah, Lucas is pretty much my hero, and that's why I'm here doing this for him.Â
Skritch was cancelled on Graphic Smash uhhhhh a little over two years ago, and I'm working to piece it all together to be republished. Skritch is a hee-larious action comic about what happens to a smart-ass roach after the Apocalypse. The story starts with Skritch losing his head, getting a temporary one, and being sent on a mission to rescue a drop-dead sexy spider's lover. There are over 13 chapters in all (I don't know how many, he keeps freakin' writing them), and through Chapter 7, page 8 were posted online. We'll be starting over with Chapter 1, with a few updates and revisions, and continuing the rest of the story. And you should read it. Cuz it is great. Cuz I said so. We're getting Skritch ready as fast as the letter carrier can fly, and we've made huge progress. Stick around because the roach will come back. They always do...Â
Lucas doesn't have access to a computer, but he would like to hear from any former fans or anyone who is interested in the comic. I'll be setting up a discussion somewhere on the vast internet, so stay tuned. If you have any questions, just lemme know. K, thanks.

On the plus side ... any
On the plus side ... any post started by someone who claims to be anyone's "short and saucy little sister" is sure to get a few readers, so well done - you've captured a few potential readers already!
On the negative side ... you didn't post a link in the thread so - for all of us whose interest has been piqued - where exactly can we see Skritch and his pals?
