We had an interview with Evan Nichols of the webcomic Dr. Eldritch. Plus, wow! Jon Morris' comic, Star Wars Versus The Batman. And Bomb Shelter's Webcomic Idol contest was down to the final three. (Doesn't look like Webcomic Idol is happening this year...)

Nada!!!
2004
A great thread on how much to spend on making a webcomic -- how times have changed (or not) since then!

Dave Wright's Todd and Penguin hits it's third anniversary milestone; an interview with Brad Hawkins and a review of his webcomic Monkey Law; and Dylan Meconis wrote a column on webcomic creator burnout.
WEBCOMIC'S 500TH EPISODE ANNOUNCEMENT ERUPTS WITH CONTROVERSY
Submitted by Xaviar Xerexes on January 9, 2009 - 11:00
When Portland webcomic artist Evan Nichols announced the posting of "500 episodes of 'Ask Dr. Eldritch,' all on schedule and without poop jokes," it immediately triggered a surprising firestorm of response. At the center of the controversy is Comic #60, which some claim contradicts this assertion. "The Eater of All says he's going to pupate, and Trevor the Troll replies that he doesn't do bathroom humor," said one Fan, who spoke on condition of anonymity. "If that's not a poop joke, what is?"
Dr. Eldritch In The House!
Evan Nichols is the creator behind the long-running Ask Dr. Eldritch webcomic. The long-running adventures of the intrepid advice columnist Dr. Eldritch are nearing episode #500 which is a pretty significant milestone for any comic project. The concept here alone cracks me up. Just check out the intro to the "Letters" page at the site:
Dr. Eldritch answers the questions that no other columnist will touch, with solid, no-nonsense advice to get you through those once-in-a-lifetime crises:
- Being menaced by the Undead?
- Scientific experiments gone horribly wrong and may destroy the Earth?
- A Loved One is possessed by Satan?
- Your gorgeous lover is using you as a patsy for an elaborate swindle?
Don't fall victim to vampires! Don't get slashed by a psycho! Don't get stuck, ASK DR. ELDRITCH!
Read on for my interview about the good doctor with his creator, Evan Nichols.
