Faith Erin Hicks

Yikes

Whoa, the daylight savings thing got me ... I have to go to bed.

Interview with Faith Erin Hicks

A brief interview with Faith Erin Hicks who is one of my favorite working creators in comics today. Her first webcomic was the high school supernatural tale, Demonolgy 101, and her current webcomic is Ice, a post-apocalyptic love story.  In the meantime she's also made a splash with Zombies Calling, a graphic novel published by Slave Labor Graphics.

More art for Sale!

Hi all. I've posted a couple more things I'd like to sell. To everyone who bought an art piece last time, thank you SO MUCH, I really appreciated it. Here's a few more: A couple original pieces, some fanart, plus two of the three pieces I listed before I've reduced in price in hopes that they'll sell. One hitch tho: If you live outside of North America, I'm going to have to charge you an extra $5 for shipping (North American shipping is included in the price), because WOW, is it expensive to ship overseas. O_o

Ice update, two new pages

Yay, updation to Ice, two new pages. Things aren't getting much better for Our Heroes ... um, yeah.

Oh, and on a completely different front, I did another Adventures of Ashley (from Resident Evil 4) comic strip. You guys seem to dig my comics, so I'll post it here, too. :D

Art for Sale!

Okay, I have some original artwork to sell, hopefully to help with the unemployment I've been experiencing. There are various pieces behind the cut, mostly original stuff, although there's fan artwork for Futurama and Avatar for sale too. Shipping is included, prices are in Canadian dollars, and hopefully people will find something they like. If you do, email me at faitherin AT yahoo.com to reserve it. First person to ask for the piece gets it. Payment can either be via Paypal, or sent cheque or money order. Prices range from $20 - 50 and are based on how much time I spent on the piece.

Internets Hates Me

Has anyone experienced Firefox just ... suddenly not working? It hasn't been working since Friday morning for me, and I've been limping along trying to use IE. Whenever I boot up Firefox, it immediately (after about half a second) times out and says it can't connect.

Ice Update (four pages)

Yes, we have UPDATION. Hurrah! ... well, now that I no longer have, y'know, gainful employment to distract me, I can do comics. Only bad thing is that the gainful employment kind of allows me a nice place to do the comics in and such ... OKAY ENUFF ABOUT THAT.

Anyway, Ice is updated with four new pages. And another one of those dun dun duuuuunnns. Since, as I mentioned, I'm currently unemployed, I'll try and make the updates weekly. We'll see.

Pilates

SWEET BABY JEBUS IT IS HARD. And everyone in the class can do the roll up while lying down thing and I can't. But I do so enjoy the class. I'm trying pretty hard to take better care of my body, and feel better about myself in general, and trying not to do the self-loathing thing anymore. Not sure I'm doing a bang-up job, but at least I'm trying.

hay you

Dear Halifax,

The potholes in your streets are so big my car fell in one of them and now I don't have a car. Please to be fixing this problem.

Love, Faith.

Edit: Sorry, I probably wasn't clear about what happened. This happened:

Anyway, yeah, something has to be done about the potholes. And abnormally large seagull population.

No update, fouled by overwork.

Man, I'm so sorry, I'm really failing with the updates. I'm so swamped with various low-paying stuff right now, and it's going to be like this for the next little while. Sorry about this... I would really like to complete Ice this year, there isn't too much left to it, but right now the time management gods are not being kind. Updates will come when they come, and believe me when I say I'm trying really hard to scrape together some time to do them. I really appreciate you guys sticking with the story through the rough patches.
