Deep down I’m sure that even the mightiest “brain†likes to play pretend when nobody’s looking. We all need our own outlets, right?
Throw me some feedback on today’s strip, especially if you’re new to the PC Weenies. If you discovered the strip recently, how did you find out about it?

John and I are back from Webcomics Weekend! I’ll try to give as complete a synopsis as possible without boring you with too many details.
But first, a bit of bad news: I know I said that we “are dedÂiÂcated to finÂishÂing the curÂrent arc in an uninÂterÂrupted fashionâ€. I know it! So it is with a heavy heart I report that a frustrating last-minute computer issue has forced us to resort to a filler strip for tomorrow.

A few interesting news bytes this morning:
1) Webdesigner Depot spotlighted 40 comic strips for web designers, and PC Weenies is prominently featured. Woohoo! 
2) Bob and Shari make their appearance over at Capes & Babes today, courtesy of cartoonist Chris Flick. Be sure to read the hilarious blog post after you read the comic.

Megacon 2009 is in its last day, as I write this post. It’s my third year of attending, and it was a fun time as always. I met several very talented folks, saw my share of orcs, stormtroopers, Ghostbusters, Watchmen, Naruto, and people dressed in weird (or too skimpy) outfits, but hey - that’s all part of the convention experience, right?

I’ve confirmed my ticket for Webcomics Weekend in Eastwork, MA for March 21st - 22nd. I’m excited about the trip, and hope that I get the opportunity to meet a few readers while I’m up there.

Fellow webcartoonist (The Drunken Fools, Antoine Gagnon, commissioned me to feature him in his own PC Weenies guest-star ‘toon. He gave me complete freedom to come up with an idea. The only restrictions: It had to be funny, and Antoine had to sport his trademark Limca shirt (his favorite drink).

We’re in a tough economy. I think it’s safe to say that people know that. But it doesn’t stop the news stations from hitting us over the head with the grim reality day in and day out.
