Okay, the bad news first ... Issue 1 of Lee Munday's frighteningly funny and unrelentingly British slice-of-life comic The Lumbering Dead comes to an end at Broken Voice Comics today. The good news is that, being the final instalment, today's update means you can now read the whole of Issue 1 in one sitting! Small consolation, perhaps, but - rest assured - creator Lee Munday is already hard at work on the even funnier (and equally British!) second issue! 
And, speaking of things British, let's not forget that today is St George's Day. To celebrate this, those good people at the British Webcomics Piss-Up have proposed that creators of British webcomics should post something on the theme of "shields". You can find BVC's contribution (featuring Boo from Shades, naturally enough) over in its Previews and workshop area!
