Since February 2001, fans of complicated and intertwining relationships have been reading the adventures of an ensemble cast originally in a strip called Coolville and recently reincarnated as a strip called Intershadows. Defying easy categorization and cliche, its characters often take off into their own metaphorical inner landscape. On top of that, the author herself is having a relationship with another webcomic creator, Justin Pierce of Killroy and Tina. Kathleen Jacques recently gave us this interview about Intershadows and getting into the heads of her characters."

Jeph Jacques is the author of Questionable Content – a Web comic about a frustrated music nerd named Marten, his walking-and-talking PC named Pintsize, and his mysterious roommate Faye. It’s about finding a purpose in life, indie rock, and drinking with friends.
Jeph, 24, is originally from the town of Rockville, Maryland. After graduating from Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts with a bachelor’s degree in music, Jeph has settled in Northampton, Massachusetts with his girlfriend.
To Hilarity and Beyond: an interview with Melonpool's Steve Troop
Steve Troop has been zipping across the webcomic cosmos since 1996, making a name for himself online and across the convention circuit with a unique panache and sincere friendliness all his own. Creator of the hilariously funny, 'sci-fi but not quite sci-fi' humor strip Melonpool, Troop is a Genuine Nice GuyTM in addition to being a highly talented cartoonist who dabbles in both animation and puppetry, among other interests. While he considers himself still pretty low-key in the webcomic popularity circles, he is one of those rare cartoonists who has managed to sell his work in print with moderate to decent success.
