I was saddened to hear of the end of MacHall today. In a sense it has been a long time coming, with updates becoming icnreasingly sporadic this year, but it does feel like the end of an era for me on a personal level. you see, MacHall was the very first webcomic I ever read.
I wish I could remember how I found MacHall, but it's probably something Bungie-related. I was a fan of Bungie's games long before Halo was released, and MacHall made me feel more comfortable about my obsession - plus the art was brilliant and the humour made me laugh-out-loud.
Since then I have moved onto the broader world of webcomics and found it to be a vast, rich tapestry - I've even gone and started my own - but MacHall has always remained my first love.
Best wishes to Ian and Matt in whatever their next endeavour turns out to be - I'm sure it's going to be something special.
