Tom - your work is coming

Tom - your work is coming along nicely (keep it up!) - it's always neat to see how a cartoonist's work evolves over time.

I'm honored that Comixpedia

I'm honored that Comixpedia would pick Theater Hopper for a side-by-side comparison in the evolution of my art. But I don't know if last Friday's strip would be the best example since it was pretty much a copy-and-paste job, utilized for pacing.
I'm kind of parial to these two comics as an example of evollution...

I think the artwork has improved since I started and a lot of that has been through osmosis - watching what other people are doing and stealing their tricks! But at the same time, I still feel like I have a long way to go. I see stuff in my comics all the time that drive me insane and that I wish I could render better. Usually, it just comes down to a lack of time.
At this point, I am about as accomplished as I think one can expect from working on the comic 3 days a week for three and a half years. I believe if I were able to dedicate more time to the comic or if I were doing it full-time, you'd see a more dramatic progression...
Thanks for the spotlight this morning! Made my day!

Definitely Improved

While it's not a Questionable Content-like change, TH's art has definitely gotten better over time. For example, I think you have better control of your linework now then when you started. I think the "last" example shows that at least somewhat.
(In throwing these posts up on the site I actually try as much as possible to stick to "first" and "last" as opposed to "not as good" and "best".)

This one didnt look so evolved so I had to check the website, yes early comics look a little flat
but just a little more detailed in the latest strips and some fancy special effects but it didnt make a super jumbo great art jump . But still a great comic
