Geek-Kon is Madison Wisconsin’s own con for all things geek. Our two-day con is striving to provide a gathering place where all geeks can find their own PG-13 geek fun. This free oasis in downtown Madison will provide: Anime and Sci-fi Showings; Gaming of all Flavors; LARPing; an Anime Music Video Contest; Art Showcase; Costume Masquerade; and More!

All-purpose geek, Tim Demeter, will doing a panel at 1PM on Saturday about getting a job in the art and entertainment field and making your way as a freelancer. (Largely because no one taught ME that stuff when I was getting my degree at UW!) If you're in the area stop by the show and look for the dude with the buzzed haircut wearing a Wonderella shirt, as there is likely to be some kind of informal webcomics get-together after my panel at some State Street bar or another.

Also in attendance will be fellow Graphic Smasher Ed Dunphy who is part of a webcomics panel at 3PM. (I will be too!)
