There are three new to relatively new webcomics, I wanted to mention this week:
Pet Professional,
Please Rewind, and
School Spirit.
You may have seen
Pet Professional mentioned on the PvP website - it's the tale of a hitman who specializes in taking out pets.
Please Rewind is the story of Hank Burns who purchases an old video store. With his best friend Tony, he tries to turn the small store into a successful business while keeping up with his movie obsession.
School Spirit recently reached 100 episodes on the web. School Spirit is based on a play aimed at primary school children (11-12 years old) also written by the webcomic's creator, Daniel Vanderwerff. Vanderwerff also notes that the webcomic liberally makes use of its Australia setting.
Yes, it is Australian, an it doesn't make any apologies for it. They are Australian kids doing Australian kid things, and their school is next door to the local cemetery. Here comes the spirit reference. There are spirits next door.

Re: Get Along Lil' Webcomics, It's The Thursday Rookie Roundup!
If I've updated 273 times in the 273 days since I went live, am I still a rookie?

Maybe. Rookie may be the wrong name for this type of post which is simply supposed to point out new or relatively new webcomics.
School Spirit for example probably shouldn't be called a rookie but it was easier to group it in this post then to try and decide whether to put it up on its own.
Xaviar Xerexes Oh yeah... this place is called ComixTalk now.

Eh, I'm not a rookie either but I just assume that it refers to the comics themselves and not the creators.
