I really suggest Savage Disassembly for anyone who actually wants to be told where they're sucking as opposed to having people either blow smoke up your ass or candy-coat things.
I have noticed that it has gotten a bit slow since I stopped being a regular contributor, so anyone who thinks they can get as good as they give should sign up. Reality checks are always needed.
Been watching Savage Disassembly for a few months, and it looks pretty useful. But actually participating in it seems to be a bit clunky. Apparently both reviews and reviewers are scheduled, and all the scheduling is done by email (which doesn't work well for me).
I'll have to get deeper into it at a later date, but for now it's one of those things that will be too much hassle for me to set up quickly.
A review community that worked entirely via the web would be very useful. LJ may not be best for this; a forum of some sort would be better.
