Greetings!
I'm brand new to computers. I'd like to communicate with others with similar interests; in this case cartoons. I've been published many times in the past. My first book "Cat Tricks" wasn't exactly a bestseller, but it's nice to have a Library of Congress card catalogue # after your name.
My main problem (besides finding others who take cartooning as a business, enjoyable yes, but still a business), Whew! that's a mouthful for one parenthetical aside, is that I don't know how to resize my drawings. I draw them on an ordinary sheet of 8.5"x11" paper but when I scan them in a jpeg format they come out in HUNDREDS of kilobytes instead of something more usable, like the 25 kb you asked for as a sign-in picture. Naturally if I send someone more than one or two cartoons the message is unweildy.
Please be patient with me; remember when I was born, Dwight Eisenhower was president. I'd appreciate any help you can give
Thanks,
Geoffrey Brickell
I'd appreciate any help, but please be patient with me. I'm not exactly computer savvy...consider this; I was a kid when Dwight Eisenhower was president.
