I've decided to try something, I have a little bear thing I call Shmoofy that I tend to hide in my comics, and I want to see if I can get other people to put him in their comics too, which is why I started the SHMOOFY Experiment. He's pretty fun to tuck into the most unusual places, and I am hoping other people may get the same level of enjoyment of it as I do.

How do you guys come into play, and how do you get involved? Simple enough, I post your contributions on the site, and once a week I'll choose one of the submissions and draw fan art for the person who included Shmoofy in some aspect of their work. It can range from a major cameo, to even a background reference. You can draw him on a character's t-shirt, include him in a crowd scene, throw him in with a pile of stuffed animals. The sky is the limit, you can even have him peeking around a corner. You can even make it feel like a game of "Where's Waldo". You just need to e-mail me the details and link the Shmoofy Experiment page in your comic's authors notes, or somewhere on the site.
