Amazing New Work by Roger Langridge

joeymanley's picture

In his typical self-effacing, shy manner, one of the greatest humorous comics creators of his generation, Roger Langridge, has attempted to sneak some amazingly wonderful comics onto his WCN site without telling anybody, under the series heading Diabolical Liberty.

You can't get past me, Roger Langridge! Sneaky little devil! This is some great stuff. Everybody should check it out!

Looks great-- but it looks

Looks great-- but it looks like it's only "new" to the web, as it's dated 1993.Â

It originally appeared in the English comic Deadline, not that long before it went belly-up I think.

It's great that we can see

It's great that we can see Roger's out-of-print work via the web.

Also worth checking out: "Rave of the Living Dead", and "Fred the Clown: Daily Strips".

He also occasionally draws Shaenon Garrity's strip Smithson (next week's strip, actually.)

Smithson by Shaenon K. Garrity, Brian Moore, Roger Langridge, and Robert Stevenson

Oops -- good catch, DJ. I

Oops -- good catch, DJ. I hadn't seen it before, so I thought it was new. It's still, like Brian says, great that it's now available on the web! Was it in color when it was in print? I'm betting not, but I could be wrong.

I believe that Roger had

I believe that Roger had this on his website some time ago. Not that it matters, because Roger continuously makes me want to break my pencils.

Cool Stuff

Hmmm...

This is a very interesting series beacuse it supports my theory that Rodger may actually be in league with the devil, hence his awesome talent and prolific output.

You may be on to something

You may be on to something there. Which makes me all the more curious because I've felt the same thing about you, Mr. Whelon. Hmmmm.

Come to think of it, anyone

Come to think of it, anyone who draws comics is probably in league with the devil.
