Re: Looking for a artist
I'll put this out there early. I'm undertaking a new project and I'm looking for a specific type of artist. I want a streamlined, bold look, (watch The Incredibles for anatomy references).
Like my other projects, I'm a capable artist, but don't have the time to do it all myself.
Its going to be a miniseries initially, Jovian Luck, a science fiction. I don't like giving away too much of a synopsis in forums, but its a space caper. A heist, if you prefer. Think: Ocean's 11 meets Battlestar Galactica. Except the greaseman is chronically late, the pilot is a mechanic, and the captain is a failed con-man.
Depending on skill, pay might be possible, though not a premium, I'm currently searching for a new publisher. I'd prefer someone willing to invest time to turn a profit rather than being paid up front.
Send sample work, including characters and technical drawing such as vehicles, to coderedcartoonist at gmail dot com.

Re: Looking for a artist
Title: Rule Breaker
Genre: Action, Drama, Comedy, Psychological, Philosophical, Fantasy, Supernatural.
Style: Shounen
Length of Project: Don't sure yet, but more then 20 chapters for shure, with more then 20 pages I guess.
Expectations (for completion/schedule): Well, two pages for a week it's for shure :) But it's depends a lot on the cooperation and the capability of each side
Compensation (commission or collaboration): I can't pay, but I plan to put it for manga competitions and maybe sell it.
Short Summary: At large, it's about a fight between two societys - the "Rule Breakers" and "Esoterics". But if to be more specific, it's about one man (who is a Rule breaker to) which enters a problematic school, and tries to give the students an open way of thinking, While the Esoterics want to "obsess" them (and other people) with theire own ideas.
Aditional information: There will be fighting scenes at random places (school, streets, parks...), sometimes including explosions, ruins, monsters (just a few :) ), blood.
Dramatic and funny situations, with a little mature content (not often ;) ).
Re: Looking for a artist
I want to create a new manga to. But I don't have much experience in drawing ( I'm trying to improve now, but it's still not something I can put on manga).
I have the sceanario and I can draw a scetch (or give examples) of how I want it to look ( maybe even more then a scetch doe to a little improvment :) ), so I'm looking for artist who want to do the drawing and the design (if the design I'll give won't be good enough). Ou, if by a chance u'r asking about what the manga, well, I wanna take a bit from GTO, a bit from Bleach, Tenjho Tenge and maybe something more ( I took the main mangas, and I'm talking about the thing that those mangas want to tell to the reader ), and combine them into some thing different, with more psychological and philasopycal stuff.
Waiting for your responses 8)

Re: Looking for a artist
Assuming that you're looking for an artist because you intend on writing it, you certainly need to give potential artists some confidence in:
1) your ability to write - which your short posts reflected the lack of.
2) your enthusiasm for the project - which again hasn't been reflected from your posts yet, with "anime" being the style, but no information of what the story is about, nor even what genre the comic will be set in.
3) your motivation - which so far seems to be money, and anyone in the industry would tell you is the worst motivation for starters.
My suggestion is that if you're serious about starting a webcomic, do some research in the medium to see if it's what you really want to do. There're lots of articles you can find on this site, and external sites linked from articles here.
Then, if you're sure you're up to the task, show some respect for the art of writing, and give potential artists something to get excited about.
Good luck :)
Re: Looking for a artist
What kind of style are we talking? Cartoony? Superhero? Anime?
Is there money involved?
Is it for a book or webcomic?
I draw. Drop me a line if you're interested
Re: Looking for a artist
im looking for an artist for a comic... better?
Re: Looking for a artist
Yep! What kind of comic? What kind of art style? Have you written online or done previous work in comics to point people to?
Paying or non-paying? Share the (c) or work-for-hire?
The more details you put in a call for an artist the more likely you'll get a response that's meaningful...

4.3 km/s (about 9,618mph).
Re: Im looking for an artist. yeah um ask and ill answer questio
Now, you know that's not what he was REALLY asking!
What he REALLY wanted to know was:
(V-escape) = square-root (2GM/R), where G = the gravitational constant (6.67 X 10^-11 m^3 kg^-1 s^-1), M = mass of the planet in question (3.302 X 10^23 kg), and R = radius from the center of the planet in question (2439.7 km).
For Mercury this gives us approximately 4.25 km s^-1. :)
