Selecting multiple tags
I found you can select more than one tag in the menu by holding down the Control key as you select the tags. (That's with a PC - I don't know what the equivalent is on Mac keyboards.)
I'm thinking it would make things easier if there were fewer tags to choose from in the menu. At present the menu's very long, many of the entries being so specific or obscure that they'll probably be used very rarely if at all - "orgone energy", for example. Searching that list for relevant tags can feel something of a chore.
That's how it is right now
We had "free tagging" for awhile this year but I don't think it worked well. Too many duplicative tags and too many tags per post. I also thought the code for it was using the server inefficiently. So we switched back to the more limited list of tags with one per post.
Drupal is about to do a new version - probably January it'll get out of Beta. When it does I'll consider another trial of more flexible tagging in the upgrade.
