New scam targeting artists

The artist BAM (Bruce Andrew Mckay) reports a new scam targeting independent artists. The con-men arrange a sale with you, send a cheque for more than the quoted price, explain that the extra money was meant for shipping, and ask you to help sort out the mistake by sending the excess money to their shipping company. Occasionally, I post about job scams [1][2], and what to do about them. Hopefully, someone sees the info, before they give away all their personal information. I've saved 16 people that I know of so far.
