In Contempt Returns

Kevin Moore, creator of Sheldon the Pig at Modern Tales, announces the revival of his popular political cartoon strip, In Contempt at Webcomics Nation. New strips appear twice weekly, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

In Contempt began as a generic political cartoon in weekly newspapers until in 2001 Kevin gave the strip its present title to reflect a perspective forged of anger, disgust, frustration and a bit of "argh!" as the world continued its downward spiral.

In 2004 Kevin's work appeared in ATTITUDE 2: The New Subversive Commentary Cartoonists along with an interview by political cartoonist Ted Rall.

Visit its original site for an irreverent look at the immediate past. Frequent targets include the Bush Administration, the expansion of state powers in prosecuting the War on Terror (sic), mistreatment of migrant workers (so-called "illegals"), racists, sexists, homophobes, religious extremists, and the media.

Due to grad school and family matters, Kevin put the strip on hiatus at the end of 2004. Grad school is over, the kids are a little older, so Kevin is happy to make this revival announcement in the third person.
