Comics and Public Domain Animation

Here's something that's only possible in the webcomics medium. The latest episode of Nerdcore: The Core Wars features an entire 10 minute cartoon as one of its panels. The cartoon is an old silent Felix the Cat short that has entered the public domain.
The cartoon is perfect for Nerdcore, since it uses word-balloons instead of speech, and features extensive punning.

The black panel with gray flicker might just be the opening frames of the animation trying to load. It works in Firefox for me. I hadn't even bothered to test it in IE.
Good point that I should have included a note, though. Thanks!

I can see it in Internet Explorer, but not my usual Firefox browser: that's just giving a black panel with a faint grey flicker every few seconds. There really needs to be something like a "needs Flash" note on the page, otherwise if things don't work for any reason then you're just left mystified.
