Hello web denizens,
I enjoyed Philcon this year. If you missed it, I had a blast with the “Images of Women in Art” and “Women in the fridge” panels. I met some great people there and had fun. My next con is Genericon, I hope to see you there!

The Pill Diary is available. In dealing with any illness that is treated with medication, there are side-effects. However difficult it is, you must work with your doctor to find the right balance of medication. This book is a tool to bring that balance to your life. Now with "The Pill Diary", you and your care-giver can work together to determine what works and what doesn't work. Order yours today at: http://www.lulu.com/content/1207468

The FuMP is here!  The FuMP, the Funny Music Project, just put out Volume 4 and Volume 5 is out now, their collection of songs that were on their web page. Each week they post two new songs and every two months they release a collection with the songs, plus bonus material. I designed these CDs including the front and back covers.  The CDs have music by Rob Balder, Paul and Storm,  Sudden Death, Worm Quartet, Luke Ski, Possible Oscar and many others.  The CDs are available for $10 either on http://www.thefump.com or from me in person at conventions.

I am proud to announce that I am Publications Director of RavenCon 2008.

Speaking of RavenCon, last Con, I rolled out some new prints.  They are extremely limited in the print run.  There are only 5 in the series.  These three striking prints can be purchased as a set or individually.  It is $20 each or $50 for all three, as a set.  I will get them online so you can see them for yourself.

To push forward a more serious presence on the web, you can find a more complete portfolio at http://www.portfolios.com/jandrewworld.  Also, I have been moonlighting as a graphic designer and to see the portfolio for that, check out: http://www.creativehotlist.com/jworld . The website is still in the works, but I have more on that below.

Attending conventions is not cheap and although I am often a guest, I still have travel and accommodations expenses to contend with. So that means I have to scrimp and save. That means I need you to buy swag or even make the odd donation at my paypal account. If you donate $10, I will send you an autographed print; a $25 donation will land you an original sketch; and $50, a black and white piece. Also, don't forget to visit my web-store.

New political Tee Shirts at http://www.printfection.com/getpolitical

November found me designing shirts for a fund raiser for Oasis Christian Center.  If you’re interested in buying a shirt and helping out the center, contact John Colonnello at jcolonnello@si.rr.com.

Last October I had a big freelance job.  At the 2007 RavenCon,  Balticon, and Capclave, there will be a Worldcon bid party for 1984.  For those of you who don’t know, different clubs bid for Worldcon to come to their city.  Then members of the WSFS (World Science Fiction Society) can vote to where the con will be held.  Washington Science Fiction Association is putting in a joke bid for 1984: A Brave New Worldcon,  making reference to the novels Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell and Brave New World by Aldous Huxley.
