Gitland, Wahoo Morris come to Modern Tales

Modern Tales' Summer 2004 Season continues to roll on with debuts by Craig Taillefer (Wahoo Morris) and Robert Wells (Gitland, debuts Friday, June 4).

About Wahoo Morris

Wahoo Morris is the story of a group of musical misfits banding together to take a shot at the fame and glory lottery. Sex, Drugs, Rock 'n Roll... and a little bit of magic make up this engaging character driven series.

In order to catch MT readers up to date with the Wahoo Morris "universe," the strip will be updating daily for two months, with one full-sized comic book page per day, then going to Monday updates afterwards:

About Craig Taillefer

Born November 29, 1968 in Ottawa Canada, Craig was raised on a diet of crayons, play-doh, and comic books. An early exposure to Uncle Scrooge, Asterix, Turok Son Of Stone, and the works of Edgar Rice Burroughs left an indelible impression on the budding young artist's psyche. Against the urgings of much saner voices, he chose to pusue art as a career.

Stumbling into professional work at a very young age, Craig has made a living of sorts at drawing for the better part of the past two decades. His work has spanned the B&W boom at Aircel and Malibu to a long residency at WaRP Graphics working on the ElfQuest titles.

Craig currently works in TV Animation, RPG Ilustration, and self-publishes Wahoo Morris through his company Too Hip Gotta Go Graphics: He splits his time between work with an unhealthy obsession for comic books, old records, and hammocks.

About Gitland

Robert Wells' Gitland, a daily, full-color feature starring a revolving cast of characters, including, among others, Colin The Rhino, Cecelia Doom, Agent Jack Bowler (star of the TV series Twenty-Bore), The Amazing Spider-Monkey, and The Man With Big Nipples, debuts Friday, June 4, 2004.
