Modern Tales Seeks Banner Ad Salesperson

Modern Tales is adding another branch to their family tree (currently consisting of ModernTales.com, serializer.net, Girlamatic.com, GraphicSmash.com, TalkAboutComics.com, AdventureStrips.com, WebShowGuide.com). Let's welcome Graphic Novel Review (GraphicNovelReview.com), an editorial webzine focusing on new and classic graphic novel releases -- a niche equivalent of "The New York Review of Books".
Unlike any of their previous efforts, GraphicNovelReview.com will be solely supported by banner advertisements. As such, they are looking for an individual or set of individuals with good connections in the burgeoning field of graphic novels, particularly on the marketing and/or sales front, to serve as our banner ad salesperson for GraphicNovelReview.com.
From the press release:
We could go the "easy" route and simply open up our ad slots to one of the plug-and-play advertising networks (like Google ads, for example), but we would like to have more control over the kinds of ads that get placed on our sites -- and, specifically, we wish to make sure that our ads are a good match for our audience and our content.
This is a contract, telecommuting position, and all compensation will be in the form of commissions on sales, to be negotiated. We do not expect anyone to be able to make a living at this gig, but it may provide some extra income for the right person. Sales will be focused on GNR, but ad banner positions on the larger, more-established websites (such as the popular TalkaboutComics.com) will also be part of the inventory available to sell.
