The Webcomicslist.com Generating Some Useful Readership Data for Webcomics

The Webcomiclist.com has added a number of graphs to the site, showing when webcomics update and how popular they are (example1, example2). There are also a number of graphs which can be found here; for example, it appears that Wednesday is the most popular day to update on.

It shows how many outbound referrals webcomiclist gave the comic, not how popular the comic is.

That's a good point. I'd also add that it's impossible to generate "Useful Readership Data for Webcomics" from a web comics list that includes Garfield and Foxtrot but not (ahem) Fetus-X, Narbonic, True Loves, Bite Me!, Pup, Half Empty, Lucas & Odessa, The Truth About Elephants, The Salon, American Elf, Whimville, The Morning Improv, Get Your War On, etc, etc, etc ...
