Comic Strip Cartooning Class in New York City by Tom Hart

Tom Hart's comic-strip making class starts next week at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. The class is a heavy look at webcomics but focuses more on the nuts and bolts of drawing/writing/serializing, etc. More from Tom Hart after the break:

The class is Tuesday evenings, for 8 weeks. We start with characters and humor and work through adventure and long form and experimental strips. It's designed to start you from scratch or take your work to the next level. With 5 years teaching experience, I've gotten good at recognizing what it is that students want to be or could be achieving, and helping them get there.
