Ice Update

Ice is updated with three new pages. Yayyy.
Update contains: Hunter giving up, "whump" sound effects and possible snipers. It's just one thing after another isn't it? These updates seem to be moving a lot slower than I was hoping, and I've yet to actually get an 'every two weeks' schedule under my belt, but at least there's something there. I feel less guilty, which is a good thing.
Speaking of comics, I spent the morning reading Tamara Drewe by Posy Simmonds, which was really excellent. As well as being a good comic (with a surprisingly positive ending; I was expecting even more death, considering it's based on Thomas Hardy), the book also had one of my most favourite artistic things: The cartoonist had the great ability to put regular looking people in clothing, and have their bodies and shapes fill out the clothing in ways that were very real and touchable. That' s my newest artist obsession: people wearing clothes and how some people (Urasawa, this lady Ms. Simmonds) can draw it so well. I'm especially enamoured with Urasawa's suit drawing ability right now. I know that probably sounds hella weird, but there you are. Next week I'll probably be obsessed with drawing noses or something.
