At this weekend's Toronto Comicsapoolza, the Doug Wright awards were presented:
- Best Emerging Talent Award: Kate Beaton, Hark! A Vagrant
- Best Book Award: Jillian & Mariko Tamaki, Skim
- Pigskin Peters Award: Matthew Forsythe, Ojingogo
