Do You Make Comics? Well… Do ya?

If so, you should definitely check out the following podcasts:
Art & Story, with Jerzy Drozd and Mark Rudolph. A & S is about to hit their 100th episode in the next several weeks. What is Art & Story, you ask? In essence: Two comic creators discuss the craft of making comics and try to wrap their brains around the larger ideas of their chosen artform.
Jerzy and Mark recently announced a daily show (M-Thurs.) called Art & Story Extreme, which even non-comics folks would enjoy. Oh, and they also recently announced a video component to their show, that includes in-depth tutorials on how they work. Mark and Jerzy are probably the most prolific creators I know. I’m just not sure when they go to sleep, because they’re always so busy.
Give their shows a listen!
If you’re a freelance cartoonist or illustrator, you should be listening to the Big Illustration Party Time podcast. The production quality on this show is superb (as is Art & Story). Hosted by Kevin Cross and Joshua Kemble. The latest episode features an interview with Audra Furuichi and Scott Yoshinaga of the beautifully rendered and always charming webcomic, Nemu-Nemu.
More plugs ahoy. But in the meantime, give these shows a listen!
