Digital Strips reports that Arizona State University cartoonist Tony Carillo has signed a deal to syndicate his comic F-Minus.

I found about 1 in 4 to be decently funny. None of them were really horrible.
Though I'm almost tempted to dismis him based on the fact that his 'signature' and occasional captions are in comic sans...

This is the strip in question. Falls squarely into the "clever but not funny" category for me. But then, I find the constraints of mainstream daily comics (i.e. you must produce jokes which could not possibly offend anyone, every single day) absolutely suck the funny out of almost every title in the category. Even "The Far Side," whose shoes this guy says he's aspiring to fill, was only lol funny about once a week. This sample doesn't quite meet Larson's standards. The dead carpet-installer was kind of funny, though.
