A slightly different version of Leslie Walker's June 16th Washington Post article on the business of webcomics ("Comics Looking To Spread a Little Laughter on the Web") ran in the the June 17th edition of the Los Angeles Times's Technology section under the title "They're Drawn To The Internet". (LA Times requires registration to read article)

I'd look forward to Bill O'Reilly telling us all we don't know jack about webcomics, except we all know they pretend every site on the internet that isn't their's is from France

It'd be fun:
"Well, I do get the creative freedom that I normally wouldnt have in print..."
"What? Can't you work within the system? Ya gotta be subversive?! WHY DO YOU HATE AMERICA?!"
