Xaviar Xerexes and Kelly J. Cooper on Digital Strips
Submitted by Xaviar Xerexes on October 31, 2005 - 00:39
E-i-C Kelly J. Cooper and myself, Xaviar Xerexes were interviewed by Daku and Zampzon on Digital Strips tonight - I think it's supposed to be posted tomorrow.
Kelly comes off as the intelligent, opinionated person she is. I, on the other hand, sound like an overly-verbose monkey. We talked about Comixpedia, webcomics, business and art in webcomics, webcomics, controversies on Comixpedia, webcomics, Eric and Wednesday, and webcomics, not necessarily in that order.

You did NOT come off like a monkey!
We had a great time - hopefully folks will enjoy listening to it...

Wow, I knew Wednesday had a fan-base, but I didn't realise it was so rabid as to create a controversy just because she's dating Eric. :P

Wow, that was extremely interesting. I don't normally listen to Podcasts (I don't like the medium, I'd rather read a transcript, besides I don't like people overhearing what I'm listening to and starting to ask me questions ;)), but this was extremely interesting and has gotten me into thinking about checking out a few other podcasts by webcomic people.
Although at first I did have trouble telling the difference between Xavier and the people interviewing you two (thankfully it isn't a guy-girl team or I wouldn't have been able to tell who Kelly was), it quickly became apparent that the verbose interesting guy was Xavier ;) (Not to knock the people at Digital Strips, they did their job and did it well. They got Xavier and Kelly talking about interesting topics).
You mentioned a strip (Brant wood?), that used the website in an interesting way. I couldn't find it online. Is it still online? I'm also starting to think I should dish out for a MT subscription, with how many people saying Narbonic is so good.
A way you two might want to keep track of your comics is via Comic Nation (When it comes back online).

Interesting stuff. It came across ike they were trying to lead you on a couple of questions, but pretty interesting.

Brambletown maybe? Xerexes mentioned it as an interesting experiment.
And I'm really glad you listened & enjoyed it!

Ok, I figured out your confusion. Brambletown is BY someone named Brent Wood.

Uhhhh... what?
(On both counts. Controversy? I have a fanbase? What?)
