Copyfight Blog Covers Wired News Sprite Story

This Copyfight post links to the recent Wired News story on Sprite webcomics.

Some good comments in the post. Copyfight calls Bob and George "fanfic." I guess that's probably accurate although most sprite comics don't necessarily stick to the "character" of the sprite image in the same way that I think of fan fic generally doing. Copyfight also corrals in clip art comics which in concept I guess are similar. That is you usually read any of these comics for the writing - not the art.
